Brilliant 3rd Graders In Need Of Books! I teach a 3rd grade class of amazing ethnically diverse, multi-lingual, low income students in a high needs school .
My 3rd grade classroom is severely lacking books! There is no school budget to purchase any more books for my classroom.
The books I have requested are classics that teach students multiple literacy skills such as story elements (character/setting/plot), comparing and contrasting, making inferences and many more! They go along with curriculum called "Interactive Read Alouds" which helps teach students how great readers think. It is essential that we empower students with high level thinking skills!
Your help will make it possible for my students to become proficient, high level readers who are on their way to college!These books will serve students for years to come. I can't do it without you!
