My Project

This project seeks to create a dynamic classroom library that celebrates culture, promotes wellness, and nurtures curiosity. By providing books that represent diverse backgrounds and experiences, this collection will foster empathy, cultural awareness, and self-confidence among students. From the inspiring journey of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind to the powerful self-affirmations in I Am Enough, these books will encourage students to embrace their unique strengths, explore new perspectives, and engage with historical contexts.

Each book has been carefully chosen to help students expand their horizons, cultivate empathy, and learn practical skills that will serve them throughout life.

This collection also focuses on practical life skills and wellness. Health guides and cookbooks will help students learn essential skills for lifelong well-being, while culturally rich texts like Black: A Celebration of a Culture deepen their understanding of heritage and identity. This project will transform our classroom library into a resource that supports both personal and academic growth, making it a place where students feel valued and inspired to learn.
