My Students

My students come from the heart of the city of Seattle, WA. My kindergarten students often arrive to school with superior knowledge of their letters and sounds. They are ready to learn to love the joy of reading. They have strong preschool skills and are ready to explore the world of mathematics and engineering. They are creative and eager to solve problems, and create! My Kindergarten students strive to show their creative and artistic talents. They love science and mathematics. They are eager to create and explore the world of kindergarten. They books about their diverse cultures and about the world around them. They need engaging and interactive books on Social Emotional Learning topics to help make them success in school. They need learning tools and hands-on resources to help them gain fine motor skills and to build their problem-solving skills in a collaborative way. These necessary materials will allow children to create and explore the mathematics as it is infused into S.T.E.A.M. projects. They need books to help open up their minds to the incredible world of reading.

My Project

My project "Books Bring Learning to Life" helps children get hands-on reading material that sparks their interests in the world around them. The books are specifically designed to create a culture of learning about their family heritage, the love of Science, Mathematics, Technology, Art, Engineering as well as include incredible books about Social Emotional Learning.

Please help my students get the books that will help inspire them to use their creative minds and incredible imaginations.

Please help bring books into our Kindergarten classroom that show children from around the world. Please help bring the necessary reading material to our classroom so that children will have the necessary resources to look at detailed Science books to help them have a deeper understanding of the world around them.
