This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Books are the key to so many doors. This project has books, books, and more books, from the classics to graphic novels. My goal is to have as many books as possible to ensure every student finds a book that piques their interest. My students are anti-readers, struggling readers, and at-risk readers.

This is why having books available to them is vital to their success.

The more they read, the better language development and vocabulary they will build. We read independently every day, and some of my students are completing books for the first time in years. The books in this project would provide my students with a multitude of titles to meet their needs and interests.
