My students need listening center books to follow along with that is on level. They also need active board activities and CD-ROM's related to common core, and guided reading books.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember when you first got to listen to books on tape? How excited were you when you could follow along with the book instead of trying to read it? All my listening centers are outdated and need CD's not tapes anymore.
We are a charter school which is located in Georgia.
The students in my class are well-rounded, bright, wonderful students who all seek additional challenges to help them learn. They love playing games, especially when it comes to ones that involve learning and they all love books.
My Project
My students will be able to listen to stories on their reading levels. They will then be able to take the book and feel confident when they write about it. Since the books are on their level they will also be able to use it for shared and partner reading groups. This will help with their self esteem. They will also be able to play games on the active board.
My students will have other options on the way they learn in the class.
They will be able to listen to a story on their reading level or read a story themselves. They will also have other games to play.
