My Project
In order to fall in love with reading, students need choice about what they read, they need a variety of content and genres, and they need to see themselves as characters in books. My classroom library is growing with rich, diverse literature each year I welcome back a group of 5th graders. These books should not have to compete for space in a classroom, but space in our 5th grade classroom is limited, especially when trying to add enough bookcases to house all of our books. Time to get creative.

This 5-tier rotating bookshelf will supplement our existing bookshelf so that every book gets to be on display, students can choose literature from every option available, and find a comfortable and spacious spot to enjoy their book.
