My students need a comfortable learning environment! My students have learning disabilities and need a comfortable space to learn.
I want my classroom to be a space where all students have a chance to succeed.
My school is a Title I school, with very limited funding. My students are diverse and speak many languages. My students come from low-income families and don't have a quiet and comfy place to study or complete homework. My students are English language learners or students with disabilities. It is important for them to have a comfortable learning place.
My Project
My special education students and English language learners are reading on a kindergarten and first-grade level. My students are expected to read at a level N. The majority of my students are reading at levels A-E. My library is filled with books on level N and up. My below level readers don't have books to read on their independent reading level.
I am asking for two guided reading collections so my students can use them to read independently.
My school is a Title I school and most of my students don't have any books to read at home to practice reading. Students will be working in a small group on specific fluency and comprehension skills to help them advance to the next level.
