This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at an amazing school where 100% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Each year my students represent all backgrounds, socio-economic levels, learning styles and abilities.

I believe my students ARE destined for greatness.

I strive to create a loving and positive classroom environment. Helping students see the value of learning and the power of being whoever they want to be will stay with them beyond my time as a teacher. I can do this buy providing them with rich literature. We are in need of read aloud books.

My Project

Help me share the love of reading fiction and nonfiction books! My students are learning to read and the daily read aloud opens their world of imagination.

"The more you read, the more things you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places you will go" Dr. Seuss. My students need books to learn about holidays, animals and heroic people. These read alouds will provide students exposure and background to history and their world around them.

This is my first year teacher Kindergarten and I am in need of age appropriate books. Thank you for your donation! My students and I really appreciate your generosity.
