My Students

My classroom this year is 21 AMAZING first graders! They have came into the classroom and have absolutely lived in the classroom library. They are finding new series and characters everyday in their books. I believe that readers make leaders. I hope that they learn that they can find a new adventure in books they decide to read. I want students to believe in themselves as readers and build the confidence that all readers can achieve! My students have shown so much excitement this year and I want to keep this momentum going!

My Project

These materials are books and magazines that my students can use and take home to create their own library. My students deserve diverse books from different subject areas to take home and read!

I am attempting to give my students more books to take home and have my students be interested in diverse kinds of books.

My students are SO excited about reading this year! Their eyes glisten when we get new books for our classroom and it makes me so happy to hear them say they love books. My goal this year is to grow readers that can lead in future generations!
