Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These supplies will help create the learning-through-exploration setting I strive for in my class. I aim to provide opportunities around the classroom that strike curiosity in my students because we learn best when we’re interested and having fun. Board games will offer students time to build relationships with one another while building vocabulary through play. LEGOs will encourage spatial awareness and spark creativity. Graphic novels will pull in even the most resistant readers. Basic, necessary supplies will relieve the anxiety that comes from not being able to afford items needed for school.

All students deserve to learn in an environment where they feel safe and cared for and with these items I will be working towards further improving our classroom.
