This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At my school, we have exceptionally talented and dedicated students who are willing to go the extra mile to have a dynamic and challenging music education. Our students may face very difficult situations at home and around them, but their willingness to persevere and their tenacity has set them apart.

Our music students have gone on to do great things in the community and in higher level music education.

We are honored to know that many of our scholars have received scholarships and high placement due to their work in music. We are very proud of their work and are excited to see what great things they will do this year. Music has done great things for our most at-risk youth. Let's help them continue their great work!

My Project

My students need bass, piano and drum set books to continue their growth on the instruments. With these books our junior high rock, blues and jazz bands can continue to improve. Many of our students are getting ready to apply for high school on these two music disciplines, and with these books, they will be able to prepare as they need to compete on the next level.

Through music, many of our students have been able to improve their overall studies, and have found a new love for education.

These books on rock, blues, jazz and fundamentals will help our students improve their overall abilities on guitar, bass and piano, and continue developing their overall musicality.
