This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This has been a very good year so far. My students have made wonderful progress in learning to read, spell and write. They are excited and proud about how they have grown, and I feel the same. As we move forward, the year is quickly coming to a close. We want to end the year as strong as we began.

You can help my students by giving them quality books, writing journals and other materials to help them display all of the wonderful work they are producing.

I want my students to have fun books to practice their new reading skills and fresh journals to write and show off their spelling skills. They have worked so hard this year and come in each day excited about the new learning that will take place. They will have new books to help strengthen their love of reading and also have materials to create their own stories. At the end of the year, I want to gift each of them with a book from our library that they can enjoy over the summer and keep their reading skills sharp.
