This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Living during a pandemic has been very difficult for the students my school serves. I would like to grow my class book library to include books that address social emotional learning. With a variety of books that address many social emotional issues, I’m hoping to have more tools to respond to student’s needs. Books are a tool to help students process what is going on in the world and their emotions. I want to use books to help students process the challenges of Covid-19. The books in my project will help my students process their feelings.
