This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students show so much love for reading. They have learned books not only give us information and let us enjoy great stories but that our love for reading shines through all we do.
Books open up so many moments of connection in our classroom, and we enjoy it all together.
In our classroom family, we have learned that between the pages of a book, reading takes you places.
This year, I'd like to be able to gift students a little part of our classroom culture by gifting them a mini book that shows them how much their teacher enjoyed having them in her classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
