My Students

Young learners are often the most excited, interested, and inquisitive!! As children enter into their first years of school, it is of utmost importance to guide them with patience and understanding.

The students in my class are inquisitive, passionate, and eager to learn new things!

Building a sense of trust, partnership, and respect will help them to see their individual strengths and gifts, and allow them to build upon them! Each student learns differently and requires individualized attention to ensure they reach their full potential.

My Project

This order request for books includes two types of literature that will be used for my special education students. One set of books, There Was an Old Lady series, is wonderful for sequencing and reading comprehension. These stories can be used in a multitude of ways to engage students in learning while having fun! These books also tie into hands on activities that can be used as an extension to classroom learning, and the set includes books for all holidays! The second and third sets of books focus on social/emotional learning, and present it in fresh and fun ways! These books will be a great addition to my littles learning opportunities, as they navigate feelings and how to successfully manage them.
