I believe in working to provide my students with the very best music education possible.
My young music students are hard-working, fun-loving, and a pleasure to teach. I want to encourage their love for learning, and inspire them to grow as learners and musicians.
My Project
Recently, I attended a state music conference, where I attended several sessions with John Feierabend, a leading voice in early childhood music. It was fascinating! I loved his "First Steps" approach to early childhood music, and have already brought back many of his strategies to my students - and they are hooked!
With these new books, my students will be exposed to new literature, new songs, new dances, and so many new ideas!
All these books help support the "First Steps in Music" curriculum and provide a comprehensive approach to helping young children develop into "tuneful, beautiful and artful" musicians.
