This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a transitional kindergarten teacher and get the honor to provide the first-time experience for children to come to elementary school. My students are so eager to learn and be at school. They love to explore learning in a variety of different ways. One of their favorite things to do is listen to stories. When I read a story aloud to my students, they always have so many experiences to share.

Books in my classroom allow students to relate and imagine different things.

They will always raise their hands and tell stories that happened to them, like the ones in the books.

One thing our classroom lacks is reading materials. We need more books for our classroom. The donations towards these books will leave an amazing impact on our classroom.
