My Students
My 6th grade students are amazingly creative, curious, and energetic about learning (even in this wild year)! Each student comes with their own experiences and identities that intersect to make them unique. Many of my students are multilingual and have an amazing amount of language knowledge!
My Project
Starting on February 9th, approximately 70% of students attending Badger Ridge Middle School (Verona, WI) will be coming to school in-person part of the time. There will also be many students who will be completely virtual for the rest of the school year. While students coming to school will have access to texts much more easily, students who are receiving virtual instruction exclusively may not have access to interesting texts that are at or near their reading level.
Please help get virtual learners more texts throughout the second half of the school year!
With over 100 books delivered to students from November to January, I am in need of more books for the amazingly resilient 6th graders who will be receiving 100% virtual instruction in the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you for your generosity and support!
