My Project

My students take biology in the eighth grade and many are interested in climate change, especially in the science and how people and communities are trying to mitigate the effects of it. I have selected these books and posters because of their interests in it.

I have also selected these resources because they do not fall into the camp of climate doomerism; their messaging is that humans can positively impact the environment.

In my ELA classroom, we talk and read a lot about current events, and I cannot imagine a more current event to let them learn about.
