This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Books are very expensive and as a new teacher, I do not have many books for my classroom. I want to provide more books for my students to read during free time and for me to read for the whole class. These books will not only provide my students with more learning but also provide them with social-emotional skills.

Being a first-year teacher and providing enough books for students is hard, but getting these books would help me give my students a more inclusive classroom library.
