I am a special education teacher in a third grade self-contained class in a Title I school. Our school consists of culturally and linguistically diverse students within a low socioeconomic community.
We are a classroom of readers!
My kiddos look forward to free reading time in class and love going through the class library. They ask to borrow books to take home so that could continue reading.
I would like to ensure that my kiddos keep reading during the summer! Being able to give them a package of books on the last day of school would be such a great gift of literacy!
I have selected a few of my personal favorite books - fourth grade, of course.
Please help me give the gift of reading during the summer to my kiddos as a send off to wish them a happy summer!
