This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to read. They are enjoying the Little Spot of Learning books. I would like to use the Little Spot of Learning books to teach my students about kindness, friendship, and sharing. After reading these books, we will work on creating our own class books on how to best use these life skills.
We will use the sun and the moon book for our science units.
Students will use these books as references when writing about space,
The other books are for me to learn more about teaching reading and writing. I love to teach reading. My students are eager to become fluent readers. I will use these books to teach my students about the various spelling rules that are in our English language. We will use the laminator to laminate our class books in order to preserve them for future classes to read.
