My Project

I absolutely love to incorporate books into every lesson that we do. I use math, science, and social studies books during our ELA stations for a sight word search. The students love to read through the books and find the sight words that we are working on at the time. I give each student a printed list and when they find a word on that list they use their dry-erase marker and mark it off. They love this station because it is student-led. I would love my growing book collection to get even bigger! The laminating sheets, ink refill, and sipper pouches will be used to help organize the books.
