My Project

Schools have had a huge push towards addressing the whole student through SEL (social emotional learning). School is no longer just about academic learning but learning how to interact outside of the digital world. Even two and a half years after returning to in person learning, students are still adjusting to and learning from learning online to learning in person and engaging with their peers.

We are requesting books, colored paper, crayons along with other basic school supplies to help the create more social emotional learning opportunities for my students.

These books and activities will help open up conversations as a class about social emotional skills, problem solving skills, and growth mindset in a meaningful and engaging ways. By fostering these skills we help to prepare our students for their best future.
