Hello Donors!
I'm Mrs. H, a Pre-K teacher at UGS.
In our classroom, we strive to ignite a love for reading and learning among our students. However, our current book collection is outdated and not always age-appropriate, which can limit the engagement and educational growth of our students. We have a diverse group of learners, including many with special education needs, in both our AM and PM classes. To better meet their individual needs and foster a more inclusive learning environment, we urgently need new, targeted books.
Our goal is to provide a selection of high-quality, age-appropriate books that reflect the diverse interests and reading levels of our students. By updating our library with engaging, contemporary texts, we can ensure that every student has access to books that are both educational and enjoyable. This will not only enhance their reading skills but also support their overall academic development and boost their enthusiasm for learning.
With your generous support, we will be able to purchase a variety of books that cater to different reading levels and interests, including those suitable for our special education students. These new resources will help create a more dynamic and supportive classroom environment, where every student can find books that resonate with them personally and academically.
