Books For Our Classroom!

Help me give my students books to surround them in our classroom! My students are in grade 1 and learning to read. I want them to have access to books so they grow their love of reading.

My Project

When my students' teacher retired, she took her collection of books with her. I started with them in January and we now have empty shelves to fill! As their new teacher, I want to fill our classroom with books. My first graders are learning to read and need books. They are a diverse group with my different interests. I want my students to see themselves in the characters, have strong mentor texts and just all around love reading. Please help us fill the shelves in our first grade classroom! Thank You!
