My students need books for exploration of history topics, scissors, and some colored pencils for hands-on activities.

My Students

My students are hungry to learn more about the topics and civilizations we are studying. They love being able to peruse our classroom history library and be able to reference and check out books. With over 200 students, we really need more books for the students to explore and utilize.

Our school is a wonderful microcosm of students from all over Los Angeles.

We are incredibly geographically, economically, and ethnically diverse. We have students from so many different backgrounds, all coming together to learn together and from each other! Thank you for supporting our wonderful learning community!

My Project

My students need an interactive social studies experience, including books about the Maya, Aztec, and Inca, Joan of Arc, and more. Students will love learning more about medieval samurai, Marco Polo, and Shakespeare's plays. We also need multiple basic supplies such as scissors and colored pencils as we engage in hands-on projects.

We greatly appreciate your help providing students with the wealth of resources they deserve!

Research shows that having access to books is a huge benefit for all children. It is so inspiring to see students so engaged in their own learning, and books help us to do this!
