This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ryan T Higgins is one of the most favorite authors among the littles. He has created a world in which a grumpy bear has to learn kindness and empathy when he has to raise some baby ducks. Watching Bruce grow and learn are very important lessons that spark important conversations in my PreK classroom.

I plan on using these books to teach my kids how our attitudes can affect not only how we are perceived by others, but also how we have the power to change our grumpiness into loveliness.
