This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about this project is that students helped me create this list of books. They were so engaged when making a list. They all know that reading is a struggle, and making them read fun books will make them want to read. Here are some things they are telling me about why they love these particular books:

"These are the only books we find interesting as students.

It would mean the world if you could donate these to us." - B.

"The books we have are just not that interesting. I like drama and more excitement in them. These books make me more excited, and even though it has hard words, I still try because these books are exciting."

"The online free books are available, but they take forever to check out. The Dragon Ball Z book I want says it'll take two months before I can read it. "
