This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Books are an indispensable resource for my students during Hispanic History Month. They offer a gateway to understanding and appreciating the rich heritage and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities. Through books, my students can cultivate cultural awareness, embrace diversity, expand their horizons, develop critical thinking skills, find inspiration, and enhance their language and literacy abilities. In essence, books serve as powerful tools for both education and empowerment, making them an essential component of celebrating Hispanic History Month in my classroom. Thank you for your consideration on funding this project.
