My Project
Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of reading. However, for many students, this joy is often diminished when they struggle with books that are too difficult or when they are given materials that fail to capture their interest. This is why it is essential to provide students with books that align with their reading levels and personal interests, ensuring they develop strong literacy skills and a lifelong love for reading.
When students are given books beyond their reading level, they may struggle to comprehend the text, leading to discouragement and a loss of confidence.
By providing books that match their current abilities, we can help students build their skills gradually, fostering both competence and motivation. Success in reading strengthens their academic performance across all subjects, as literacy is the foundation for learning. Additionally, when students are engaged with books that align with their interests, they are more likely to read independently and develop a positive association with reading.
