Help me give my students graphic novels and chapter books to continue to inspire learning through text.

My Students
My students attend a public school where they are supported and valued regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds, experiences, and cultural differences. My students participate in a dual-language immersion program, where they show eagerness to learn a second language, engage and socialize with their peers in both languages. It is such a difficult time for all of them at the moment due to everything we are going through during the COVID-19 pandemic. These students are very resilient and so far are very optimistic about our everyday difficulties! They are a great bunch!
My Project
During this pandemic, many students have had to make a shift to online learning and reading. They have been spending many hours participating in live synchronous instruction weekly and completing assignments virtually through submitting work online. Having actual books available to read when offline provides a good balance of learning throughout the day. In this way, students can continue to engage in reading skills while not having to strain their eyes in front of a computer screen for prolonged periods of time. A game of checkers is also a great way to continue to foster strategic thinking while providing a brain break from reading.
A variety of books and stories provides opportunities for students to engage in read-alouds and conversations with families about stories being read.
This project will help students continue to learn through reading books while supplementing their education through the digital world.
