This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal is to have students find an interest and love for reading. Although we read throughout the day in the classroom, it is very important for students to find books of their interest. Having books that interest kids will show them that reading can be fun, imaginative, and can help them develop their comprehension and literacy skills. This book set is something my students have been asking. They do not have access to "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" in our classroom library and they would love to read this in class and even take them home to read. My students are such wonderful people and appreciate the little things. These books would bring so much joy and excitement to their lives.
