My Students
I currently teach 40 fun-loving students in my class. This group of kids is full of future lawyers, doctors, nurses, teachers, and more! Our school houses just over 700 students and all students receive free breakfast and lunch due to the economic background in our area.
Our wonderful school currently serves students in grades PreK-4 and provides rigorous academics, skilled teachers, and a safe learning environment.
My goal is to be able to provide educational experiences for all the children in my classroom that will keep them excited about school and become lovers of learning.
My Project
With these book titles added to our classroom, students will have a variety of books like the Amulet Series, Lemonade War Series, Dork Diaries Series, Dog Man Series and The Bad Guys Series that are appealing to them and books that I know they will be super excited to start reading. I want my students to always be able to find a book that will hook them in and help them develop a love for reading.
Many students don’t have the books they’d like at home.
This project will give them a chance to find books they like in the classroom and increase their reading skills. The best way to get better at reading is through practice.
