My Students

What I love about my students is that they are all unique in their own special way! They respond well to technology rather than just worksheets.

We are coming into 21st century teaching and need more materials to accommodate!

They are really bright students with a love for learning. I look forward to seeing them every day! I would like to get them new tools to help them get in the learning mode and succeed with their future.

Any help is always appreciated! Thanks!

My Project

The use of these nonfiction books will allow my class to become familiar with famous people in history. Students will use the books to help them write a biography report, and do a presentation on the person they chose to research. It will promote curiosity! When one student reads about an interesting person and shares it with the class, than everyone wants to read about that person too. It is such a great way to introduce the students to these important people in history!

The selection will offer my class more diversity and multicultural texts than I currently have available for them.

Because we are a Title I school, funds are often limited for various resources. To be able to provide the books in the classroom library is very important to me. These books are perfect for students reading at a 1st through 3rd grade level. There's no greater gift than sharing the love of reading with children. These stories would be a wonderful addition to the classroom and it would be a gift that would keep on giving for many years to come.
