Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is working on building our Spanish library! My students are excited to pick a new book to read and take home with them each night. It is important for them to continue to develop their reading skills in Spanish so they can transfer their learning to reading English.

Help us add books to our classroom library so that my bilingual students can continue to thrive in reading!

These books will be available to students to pick based on their interests and independent reading level. I am also requesting anchor chart paper to create visuals with my students to refer back to specific reading skills we have learned so that they can apply their learning as they read their new books.

My students will be so excited to have new books to pick from from a range of levels and topics.
