Books for Aspiring Readers!

Help me give my students books to read during our reading time! These books are to build the library in my classroom - and to have sets to read together in class to practice our reading comprehension.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Kea Arakaki-Tohara's classroom raised $669

My Project

The books I am requesting are to supplement my library in my classroom. I want books my students will be interested in and excited to read about.

I work with special education students, and like all students, they need to work on their reading comprehension skills, literacy, social-emotional learning, and finding stories that pique their interest.

I am excited to read more to my students, have them practice silent reading, understand various themes and motifs of a story, and read as a class to increase fluency.

The goals for my project are to excite my students about reading and help them to understand more grade-level material.
