Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting one classroom Kindle and protective case. This Kindle will be used as a reward to reinforce positive behavior and reading habits. Due to limited space I do not have many books in my classroom library however I want my students to be able to read any book they would like. Students will be given the privilege to use the Kindle to borrow books that are not available for hard copy in my library
This is a reward that my students will be very excited about and will help prepare them for a future filled with technology.
My students have begun taking state tests and other tests online, therefore it is very important for them to get comfortable with reading online and navigating technology while reading.
