This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Welcome to 3-K for All. This is the first school experience for many of my 2 and 3-year-old students. They are eager to come to school and play with new friends. They will develop new skills, passions, and friendships. We need age-appropriate books in our classroom.

Our school is a Title I school.

The vast majority of our students are Hispanic or African-American. They come from low-income families which work hard to meet the basic needs of their families.

My Project

This is the first school experience for many of my students. They are eager to play and learn new things. They love to listen to books being read and to read them during center time. One of their favorite centers is the library. They love to "reread" the books with friends.

One of my goals and wishes is to help them develop a love for reading!

Having high-quality picture books will help us achieve this goal. These books capture their attention and help them develop social-emotional skills.
