It's no easy task getting teenagers to read! As my students discover in my class that they can read, AND like to read, they’re starting to discover their favorite genres and authors. Super exciting!
Studies show that if students are exposed to, and have access to, a wide variety of books, they will have a greater experience with reading.
I've asked my students what books are missing from my shelves - what do they REALLY want to read - and this list of books came to be. Poetry, mystery, humor ... they want it all!
