My Project
A rolling cart will help our students sort and shelve our returned library books. These rolling carts will also help in moving the books around the library.
The rolling cart has wheels which will allow for mobility around the library.
By allowing students to be library helpers they learn responsibility, as well as a good work ethic when young. Being a library helper at my site is a reward, never a punishment. Students can earn the privilege of helping with various library tasks. They learn how to alphabetize, as well as sort by Dewey decimal system.
Your donation will not only assist with sorting and holding books while they are waiting to be shelved, but it will make it possible for our students to be a part in keeping their library organized. With these being single sided they will not only fit well in our small space, but are much lighter so moving is easier.
