My Students

This is a quote my students learn the first week of school each year.

It's our mantra and a reminder that we can do anything if we truly put our minds to it. Most importantly, it inspires us to shy away from excuses and focus on solutions.

I work in an inner city school with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite those challenges, my students are excited to work on the many engaging projects I design throughout the school year. This year will not be any different.

My Project

My students have come to me with a thirst for reading. They are quickly gobbling up our classroom library books and are on the hunt for some fresh titles.

Help my classroom get brand new books that will continue to fuel our eagerness to be lifelong readers.

With your help, my students will continue to have access to quality books day in and day out that they can read independently. These books will keep the most stubborn reader engaged and my successful readers challenged. There's something for everyone! With your assistance, my fourth graders will continue on their journeys to become life long readers.
