My Project

The items I’m requesting, will help my students engage more deeply with both fiction and non-fiction texts. With these resources, they’ll be able to explore stories and facts in more interactive ways, improving their reading skills and comprehension. For example, new books will expose them to different genres and topics, These books will make reading fun, exciting, and meaningful, encouraging students to think critically and make connections between the stories they read and the real world.

My goal for this project is to help students become confident and enthusiastic readers by giving them access to a variety of fiction and non-fiction books.

I want them to develop a love for reading, whether they’re diving into imaginative stories or learning about new topics from real-world books. I aim to build their comprehension skills by encouraging them to ask questions, make predictions, and discuss what they’ve read. Additionally, I want to teach them how to find important information in non-fiction texts and enjoy the creativity of fictional stories. Ultimately, I hope they become lifelong readers who feel excited to explore new ideas and adventures.

My students are special because they are curious, imaginative, and eager to learn about the world around them. They love to read and explore new stories, and each one brings their unique perspective to the classroom. Whether they are captivated by an exciting fictional adventure or fascinated by a true story, they are always excited to share what they’ve learned. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds, and this diversity enriches our classroom discussions as they bring different ideas and experiences to the table. Their enthusiasm for reading and learning is contagious, and they inspire one another every day.
