My Students

My students are in a self-contained K-2 12:1 classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.

All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.

Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects and strive to do their best. These children mean the world to me and I would do anything to help them in every way possible.

My Project

I am always trying to expand my classroom library. I believe that surrounding my students with books is essential to encourage and foster their love of reading. My class loves to become invested in characters and to continue to read about them. They enjoy to have stories read aloud to them and they also love to have books on their level to enjoy independently.

Having new books for our library is always exciting.

Each of the following books will be perfect for my special education students. They are all books that my students will enjoy and have requested for our classroom library.
