My Students

My students are super second-grade students in a high-needs school district. They are excited about school and learning! Unfortunately, school budgets do not always make it possible for me to provide the materials and experiences to let my students soar during hybrid learning.

Help me make this challenging year their best year ever!

My Project

I am looking to build my classroom read aloud library with beautiful and interesting books that will teach language arts concepts as well as help instill a love of reading. Your contribution will help make that happen.

Children want to read and listen to books about people who resemble them.

Not only am I requesting books that are beautiful and interesting, but I am requesting books to help make my classroom library more multicultural and representative of my student population. I threw some funny ones in there just because...why not?
