My Students

My students are bright, bubbly first graders who are in a small rural community. They are dreamers, thinkers, and debaters who want to find answers to the questions around them.

Our school serves students in grades K-4 and provides precise learning opportunities.

Our administrators and parents provide so much support to the staff and students here. I feel so blessed to be able to teach in such a supportive environment.

I know one day these students will change the world. Our classroom is full of possibilities. Please help us achieve all we can by donating to our classroom.

My Project

As a first grade teacher, I look for books that my students can read independently. I also try to give my students as many choices as possible. Please consider donating to purchase these titles for our classroom library. I have included both nonfiction and fiction books ,as well as some beloved authors such as Mo Willems and Dr. Seuss.

Studies have shown that if you give students a choice in what they read, they will become better readers and want to read more.

I find no greater joy than helping my students find a passion for reading and picking out just right book that they love.
