My Students

The elementary school that I work at is such a special place! Our students come to school each day ready to take on another day of learning. I am proud to say that every staff member at my school strives to provide the best place to learn for our students.

My goal is to create a school and classroom environment that is inviting, engaging, meaningful, and full of passion!

My classroom is a safe place where learning is fun but adds meaning to their lives.

My students are the most enthusiastic group of students I have had yet. Each and every one of them brings something unique to our classroom. Thanks to your donations, I will continue to be able to do whatever I can to help my students succeed and move on to be successful members of society!

My Project

Remote learning as proven to be a challenge for my students. They are doing an excellent job of logging into our zooms and completing their online assignments. I am so fortunate to have such a hard-working group of students through this difficult time of remote learning. One thing that has remained a challenge regardless of what we do is the amount of screen time these students are experiencing.

This project will put physical books into the hands of each of my students!

Having these books will give my students an option other than e-books to read during our literacy instruction. While we do have many options online, nothing compares to having a book in your hand! The books in this project are high-interest books at the 5th grade level. Thank you in advance for your support in providing access to high-quality books for my students.
