My Students
We are a part of a K-8 school in Brooklyn, New York. Every day that my fifth graders and I spend on Google Meets together is a day filled with excitement, discovery, and enrichment. We are a blended remote class of 51 students made up of a diverse mix of cultures, languages, and abilities.
They are working diligently to make the most of remote learning!
My Project
I have so many books in my classroom, and my school has been amazing with providing us with brand new books, that I'm so excited to use within my classroom! However, one of the old bookcases in my classroom fell apart. Due to this, I'm not able to put many of the amazing books on display, which is incredibly disheartening; I want to be able to give my students the opportunity to choose from all of the books they have available to them. With a new sturdy shelving unit, we will be able to have our books on display and my students will be able see them all and choose based off of their interests!
