This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need access to books on their reading levels and books where they can see themselves in the characters. I am determined to inspire my students to want to read. Many of my students love Fly Guy and Pete the Cat. I also want to provide stories in which they can relate to the characters in terms of race and ethnicity. This will provide them with books they can read and enjoy.
My students are below level in reading and need all the books they can get to inspire them to continue reading.
