My Project

We all know how important it is for children to feel represented in their classrooms, I want to provide my students with materials that show a variety of perspectives and experiences. I will be able to conduct active learning through read-alouds. The reading materials in our classroom library will allow them to have a multicultural and diverse collection readily available.

These new books for our recently established library nook, will allow my students access to books that have characters that are diverse, just like they are.

Students will feel more embodied in our classroom, having these titles will help to create empathy and understanding among students of different backgrounds. All students will be able to read these books to further celebrate our diverse community.
